09.14.15 2015 Season comes to an end
Another season has come and gone and we couldn't have asked for a better season finale at Washougal Motocross Park LLC! We had a record breaking amount of entries, we had PDMokry Photography on site getting awesome footage all weekend, we had a very successful fundraiser for The Code Green Campaign that raised over $3,700, and most importantly we had FUN! A huge thank you to everyone who continuously keeps this series going; our sponsors, our EMTs- Sean Clinton and Bryan Gwinnup, our stager/ starter- Chad Gemmell, the Mott's, the Villiard's, and most importantly our racers-without you guys coming back weekend after weekend we wouldn't have this awesome series! Keep an eye on our social media this off season as we gear up for an ever better 2016 season!

Lots of people in coming in the gate, it's going to be an awesome weekend of racing! Can you find yourself in line?

About Code Green
The Code Green Campaign takes its name from the color of the mental health awareness ribbon, and from the “code alerts” that EMS uses to designate an emergency patient. For example, if someone is having a stroke or heart attack that needs rapid intervention, we will tell the hospital the patient is having a “code stroke” or “code STEMI”. The idea is that we are calling a code alert on our mental health.
The campaign has two main goals. Our primary goal is raising awareness of the high rates of mental health issues, substance abuse and suicide among first responders. Our secondary goal is providing education for responders on how to provide care for themselves and recognize issues in their peers.
The campaign raises awareness by giving first responders an outlet to tell the story of their mental health issues anonymously, and then republishing those stories so they can be viewed by everyone. This allows us to see what each other have really gone through, and allows those of us who are struggling to understand that we are not alone. It also allows those who do not have first hand experience with mental health issues to see that mental health issues can affect anyone, which will hopefully decrease the stigma.
In the future Code Green hopes to be able to provide our own education for first responders and agencies. In the mean time, we strongly suggest anyone interested in increasing their knowledge check out our education page.
MissionTo bring awareness to the high rates of mental health issues in first responders and reduce them. To eliminate the stigma that prevents people from admitting these issues and asking for help. To educate first responders on self and peer care and to lobby for systemic change in how mental health issues are addressed by first responder agencies.

09.03.15 Quadcross Goes Green!
September is National Suicide Awareness month and this year we are teaming up with The Code Green Campaign to bring awareness to the high rates of mental health issues in first responders and reduce them. To eliminate the stigma that prevents people from admitting these issues and asking for help. To educate first responders on self and peer care and to lobby for systemic change in how mental health issues are addressed by first responder agencies
For our finale two rounds, September 12th and 13th at Washougal Motocross Park we are asking everyone to wear green to show your support, our racing family has recently lost two family members to suicide so this is a very important campaign to us.
The Code Green Campaign will be on joining us at Washougal Motocross Park LLC with a booth, Pit Traffic will be holding a raffle and silent auction, and we will have a special edition Quadcross Northwest \ Washougal \Code Green T-shirt available.
Please come out and join us for a great weekend of racing and help raise some money for a great campaign.
